Large Animal Staff

Taylor Kersey, Large Animal Technician

Taylor was born in Oregon, where she was raised to love horses and rodeo. In 2013, she attended Central Arizona College and competed on the rodeo team in the Grand Canyon Region. She graduated with her degree in Agriculture Business and moved back to Oregon, but quickly grew to love veterinary medicine and equine rehabilitation while working alongside her long-time veterinarian. It wasn’t long after that, the cold and rainy weather pushed her to move back to Arizona full time in 2018 and continue to pursue a career in veterinary medicine with Jackpot. In her spare time, Taylor enjoys drinking Margaritas with her fellow Jackpot employee Brittany, roping with her wonderful neighbors and riding her growing herd of bays and greys.

Briana Fraley, CVT, Large Animal Technician

Briana was born and raised in Tucson and loves the southwest desert. Her passion has always been for animals, particularly for small ruminants and livestock. She has a background in Nigerian dwarf and La Mancha goat breeding and rearing, as well as in horses, including managing local boarding facilities. Briana discovered her passion for medicine early on and enrolled in PMI’s vet tech program. She completed the rigorous course in 2019 and become a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2020. In her spare time, Briana enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and camping and fishing. Briana also enjoys “Dad” jokes and hanging with her polydactyl kitty Bartholomew.

Shayla Bristow, Large Animal Technician

Born and raised in Tombstone, Arizona, Shayla is a Junior at the University of Arizona majoring in Veterinary Science. She has plans of attending Veterinary School and hopes to open her own mobile practice some day. Shayla enjoys exercising, going on hikes with her dogs, horseback riding, and spending time with her friends and family.

Brittany Aranda, AVA, Large Animal Technician

Brittany grew up in Sierra Vista and graduated from Buena High School. She moved to Tucson to attend Pima Community College on a Cross Country Scholarship. On her days off she enjoys spending time with her husband, their surrogate son/dog Maverick, and their three horses. In 2015 she graduated from Pima Medical Institute with a certification as a Veterinary Assistant. Brittany brings a variety of skills with her to the Jackpot team, and looks forward to perfecting her equine technician skills.

Jeannette Felix, Equine Receptionist

Jeanette is a Tucson native and an animal lover at heart. She has 4 cattle dogs that would rather be around cows than people, one cat that acts more like a dog than a cat and 6 horses. If she’s not caring for animals at Jackpot, she’s probably out ranching and roping with her husband. Jeanette loves the variety of pets and owners she gets to interact with and we are so happy to have her as part of the Jackpot family.

Kileigh Setzler

Kileigh was born and raised in Gilbert, Arizona where she grew up with horses and livestock. She is a senior at the University of Arizona graduating in May 2022 with a BS in Veterinary Science and a Minor in Microbiology. She plans to attend veterinary school post-graduation and work primarily with equine and livestock.

In her spare time Kileigh enjoys playing volleyball, running, riding her horse, photography, and spending time with friends and family.

Cole Lowry

Cole was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. He grew up performing in the East coast ISHS riding program learning how to ride and care for horses. He also found love for the smaller animals by having and caring for all different types of pets ranging from gerbils, fish, lizards, tortoises, bunnies, cats, dogs, and even exotic birds. He moved to Tucson, Arizona in 2016 where he now calls home. Currently he is enrolled at Pima Community College working to get his bachelor’s degree in Biology Science. When he is not working at the clinic or cleaning stalls at his local barn he likes to spend his free time with friends, family and his pets.
