Jacci grew up in Plymouth, Utah. When she was 18 she joined the Navy and left Utah for a new adventure. She spent four years defending our country. She got out of the military and moved to Maine with her husband.
After many years of moving around the country and trying different jobs she settled into school at the University of Arizona here in Tucson. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Science.
She has plans to go back to school and further her education in the next few years.
Jacci and her husband Rich have two Boston Terriers (Papi and Tessie), a French Bulldog (Ory), and a cat (Lemur) They love sports, like to travel, hike, and just spend time together. They have recently decided to settle down here in Tucson, and finally plant some roots.
Taryn Crouse, CVT

Taryn grew up in Flagstaff, AZ. She always knew she wanted to work with animals, and has an avid interest in veterinary medicine and animal behavior. She moved around a lot after high school, finally making a home in Tucson, where she met her husband, Micheal. She has just graduated from Pima Community College with an Associate’s of Science- Veterinary Technology Degree. She loves to spend her time reading, watching crime shows, and singing and dancing like nobody’s watching! -As the Kennel Manager at Jackpot, her goal is to make the boarding facility into your pet’s home away from home, and care for them as if they were members of her own pack (which includes five dogs and a cat).
Michelle Watt, CVT
Certified Veterinary Technician
Michelle was born and raised in Tucson, AZ. She graduated high school and went straight into college to follow her passion. She graduated from Pima Community College with an Associates of Applied Science - Veterinary Technology degree. She currently has a mini zoo of animals that consist of 4 dogs, 3 cats, and a 2000 gallon pond full of fish. Her hobbies consists of photography, nature and history exploration, and playing games.
Sherry has lived in Tucson and Philadelphia and is now planning to stay in Tucson for the long haul.
In Philadelphia Sherry worked as both a stable hand and a carriage driver. Sherry moved to Arizona in 2016. She went to Pima Medical Institute and received her Veterinary Assistant Certification in 2017.
Sherry and her fiancée Joe love to fish with their son Joey. Joey is 3 and he loves to play video games and hang out with his parents.
Sherry is currently working in our boarding facility and loves meeting everyone’s pets. She enjoys playing with them all day long.
Sherry dreams of becoming an Equine Technician and we look forward to helping her accomplish that.
Amanda was born and raised in Tucson. She studied Applied Sciences in biology at Pima Community College where she also received her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts.
Amanda began practicing veterinarian medicine as a kennel technician in 2009.
She moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 2012. She was working as a Veterinary Assistant at a General Practice and Emergency Clinic.
In 2014 Amanda moved back to Tucson where she married her amazing husband Mike. During this time Amanda also started working at the Veterinary Speciality Center of Tucson (VSCOT) as a Veterinary Assistant. She honed her skills in Emergency Management of small animals at VSCOT. A skill that she utilizes everyday in our clinic.
In her free time Amanda enjoys spending quality time with her husband Mike, son Matthew and their brand new baby Maddison. Their family enjoys cooking together, arts and crafts days and movie nights!!! Amanda is also an active Committee Member of Matthew’s Cub Scout Pack which she enjoys very much.

Brittany grew up in Sierra Vista, and graduated from Buena High School. She moved to Tucson to attend Pima Community College on a Cross Country Scholarship. On her days off she enjoys spending time with her Husband, their surrogate son/dog Maverick, and their three horses. In 2015 she Graduated from Pima Medical Institute with a certification as a Veterinary Assistant. Brittany brings a variety of skills with her to the Jackpot team, and looks forward to perfecting her equine technician skills.
Katie is our new receptionist and scheduler. She will be taking all your calls on a daily basis. She looks forward to meeting and hearing from each and everyone of you.
Katie is a Tucson native. She loves all animals especially cats, dogs and horses. Katie grew up participating in 4H where she showed Pygmy goats.
Katie’s career did not start in the animal field.
She graduated from Amphi High and the went to Pima Community College for her Dental Assistant certification.
Katie has been in the veterinarian field for 5 years now and absolutely loves it. She has lived in Alaska and Hawaii and enjoys traveling with her husband and their two small dogs Lola and Howley. In her free time she enjoys going to the lake, camping, fishing and exploring the outdoors.
Taylor Kersey is our newest addition here at Jackpot Veterinary Center. Taylor was born and raised in Canby Oregon, where she fell in love with horses and rodeo early on. She attended school at Central Arizona College in Casa Grande. She competed across the United States in college rodeo events while attending school. Since graduation, she grew to love veterinary medicine, particularly horse care, while back in Oregon.
Taylor and her boyfriend are building their property from the ground up out in Casa Grande, and she doesn't mind the drive to work each day.
In her free time Taylor enjoys long walks on the beach, riding her horses and hanging out with her dog and her family!
