Information for New Clients
At Jackpot Veterinary Center, we're proud to provide compassionate veterinary care to pets and their families throughout Tucson, Oro Valley, Marana, Casas Adobes, Catalina Foothills, Sahuarita, Green Valley, Vail, and surrounding Southern Arizona communities.
Here's What to Expect During Your Visit
-
We'll begin by reviewing your pet's medical history and discussing any concerns, symptoms, or questions you may have. Understanding your pet's lifestyle, routine, and overall health helps us provide personalized care tailored to their needs. When appropriate, we may also request records from your pet's previous veterinarian to ensure we have a complete understanding of their medical history and can provide the highest level of care.
-
One of our veterinarians will perform a complete physical examination and discuss their findings with you. We'll explain any concerns, answer your questions, and recommend additional diagnostics or treatments if needed.
-
Depending on your pet's condition, diagnostic testing may be recommended. This may include bloodwork, cytology, imaging, parasite screening, or other diagnostic services. Many tests can be performed quickly, allowing us to begin treatment and care planning as soon as possible.
-
Before any treatments are administered, we will provide a written estimate outlining the recommended services and associated costs for your review and approval. For some appointments, procedures, or specialized services, a deposit may be required to reserve your pet's appointment. If a deposit is needed, our team will discuss the amount and payment options with you ahead of time. Any deposit collected will be applied toward the cost of your pet's visit or treatment. At the conclusion of your appointment, you'll receive a detailed invoice and treatment summary outlining examination findings, recommendations, medications, and home care instructions. Our goal is to ensure you feel confident caring for your pet after the visit.
-
Some conditions require follow-up communication or rechecks. If needed, a member of our veterinary team may contact you to monitor your pet's progress and answer any questions. Of course, you're always welcome to call us if concerns arise after your appointment.
