    Kristy, Lead Reception, Small Animal Technician

    Kristy is originally from San Diego, California, but has been living in Tucson for some time. Kristy started her career as a Veterinary Technician back in 1995 and is proud to have learned skills from some wonderful Veterinarians and Technicians throughout the years.

    Kristy is always trying to continue to educate herself about Veterinary Medicine and is happy to continue on in her career as an integral part of the Jackpot team. If she is not at work, you can most likely find Kristy cruising the lake with her dog Momo!

    Brianna, AVA, Safety & OSHA Lead, Small Animal Technician

    Brianna was born and raised in Tucson AZ. She has what she calls “the zoo of minis”. She has chinchillas, dogs, bunnies, a desert tortoise, and fish. She also has family in New York who she visits as often as she can. She loves the outdoors and grew up hunting, fishing and riding quads. Brianna is also a huge basketball fan. She completed her veterinary assistant program at Pima college and has loved working with animals ever since.

  • Litzy, Small Animal Technician

    Litzy grew up in Phoenix before moving to a small town in Mexico, where life on a farm sparked her love for animals. She has been in the veterinary field for three years, beginning with JTED’s vet assisting program during high school, where she discovered she belonged in veterinary medicine.

    At Jackpot, Litzy enjoys the variety of patients she gets to help each day—from routine wellness visits to emergencies—and loves working alongside her supportive team. She’s passionate about education, always eager to learn new skills, teach others, and use her bilingual abilities to better connect with clients.

    At home, Litzy cares for a full house of animals: her cat Luna, her heeler Ruby, and four horses—Saphaera, Diamante, Juanito, and Duvalin. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and running.

  • Ashley, Small Animal Technician/ Reception

    Ashley grew up in Prineville, Oregon, and serves as a Vet Tech/Receptionist at Jackpot. In her dual role, she helps keep the clinic running smoothly both behind the scenes and at the front desk—preparing equipment, assisting with appointments, supporting patients and clients throughout the day, and managing communications such as phones, emails, and messages. Ashley was drawn to Jackpot for its supportive team culture and strong commitment to providing exceptional, compassionate care to every patient.

    Ashley has been in the veterinary field for nearly five years, with experience in both equine and small animal medicine. She grew up surrounded by dogs and involved in rodeo and barrel racing, which sparked her lifelong passion for animal care. Ashley is deeply committed to continuous learning so she can provide the highest quality care possible. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, trail riding, and camping with her four rescue dogs—Belle, Cooper, Koe, and Lucille. She is also working toward her BSN at Arizona College of Nursing and hopes to visit as many national parks as possible.

  • Alexis, Small Animal Reception

    Alexis grew up in the Outer Banks and serves as a Receptionist at Jackpot. She focuses on building long lasting, meaningful relationships with clients while assisting with check ins and check outs, addressing questions, educating clients on routine care and medications, and helping keep pets up to date on their services. Alexis was drawn to Jackpot because it is privately owned and offers a close knit clinic environment similar to the one she worked in back home.

    Alexis has been in the veterinary field for nearly eight years and transitioned into veterinary medicine after working as a pharmacy technician for two years. She is most passionate about client relationships and strives to make every visit feel welcoming and personal, more like visiting a trusted friend. Outside of work, Alexis enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time with her pets Ezra, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and her cats Farley and Lucy.

  • Allie, Small Animal Technician

    Allie grew up in Wisconsin and is a Veterinary Technician at Jackpot. She approaches each day with a positive attitude and plays an active role in patient care by preparing treatment areas and kennels, assisting with appointments, gathering patient histories, and supporting diagnostics. Her responsibilities include drawing blood, trimming nails, collecting samples for in house cytology, and performing radiographs, all with a focus on helping appointments run smoothly and efficiently.

    Allie has been in the veterinary field for four years and enjoys learning from the veterinarians on staff while being involved in identifying and addressing patient needs. She is deeply passionate about being a voice for animals that cannot speak for themselves. Outside of work, Allie enjoys reading, camping, and spontaneous adventures, especially spending time in nature with good country music. She is currently an undergraduate at the University of Arizona majoring in Veterinary Science with a major in Psychology and hopes to attend veterinary school and one day start her own mobile mixed animal practice. She shares her life with a mule named William, a quarter horse named Bullet, and two cats, Crunchwrap Supreme and Cinnamon Twist.

  • Michelle, Practice Manager

    Michelle spent her early childhood in Michigan before moving to Arizona, where she has built a long and meaningful career in animal care. She serves as the Small Animal Practice Manager at Jackpot and is driven by her love for animals, community, and teamwork. Michelle brings a strong leadership presence and a people first approach, helping support both the team and the clients they serve.

    Michelle has been in the veterinary field for over 21 years and began her career after applying for a kennel technician position at a shelter, where she quickly discovered her passion for the work. Her professional background includes serving as Operations Manager for the Humane Society of Southern Arizona, along with experience at Intuit Inc, Old Tucson Studios, and Carls Jr. She is deeply passionate about helping pets and their people and advocating for those who cannot speak for themselves. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys movies, reading, thrifting, and spending time with family and friends. She shares her home with her dog Louie and her Red Crowned Amazon, No Pilli, and is also the proud mom of two adult sons.

  • Danni, Small Animal Technician Lead

    Danni Santa Cruz was born and raised in Nogales, Arizona, and brings over a decade of experience to her role as Lead Technician at Jackpot Veterinary Center.

    Danni enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Charlie and Akudama. Her hobbies include drawing, reading, writing stories, music, hiking, and diving into imaginative adventures with Dungeons & Dragons. Did you know? Danni has a twin! Danni’s commitment to her team and patients, paired with her passion for learning and creativity, makes her a valued member of the Jackpot family.

  • Hunter, Small Animal Receptionist

    From Holbrook, AZ, Hunter has been in the veterinary field for just over a year and is always ready to answer calls, schedule appointments, fill medications, and assist clients with whatever they need.

    Hunter’s biggest passion? Horses—hands down! When not at the clinic, you’ll likely find Hunter training horses, working with leather, or spending time with their own herd of animals, which includes four dogs, a cat, two rats, two horses, and even a donkey!

    With a love for animals and a welcoming attitude, Hunter helps keep the clinic running smoothly. Be sure to say hi next time you call or stop by! 

  • Chloe, Small Animal Maintenance Technician

    Chloe was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, and moved to Tucson in the fall of 2023. She serves as a Maintenance Technician at Jackpot, where she spends her days organizing, cleaning after patients and procedures, and assisting team members wherever needed. Chloe values the opportunity to learn something new each day and enjoys being part of a supportive, collaborative team—even on long and busy days.

    Chloe has been in the veterinary field for about a year and has always had a strong love for animals. Before joining Jackpot, she gained experience working at kennels, on a ranch, and volunteering with rescues. She is currently attending the University of Arizona and is passionate about making a positive difference for the animals in her care while being a reliable and supportive team member. Outside of work, Chloe enjoys hiking with her dog, exploring Tucson, and trying new restaurants, and she shares her home with two cats and a dog.

  • Cayla, Small Animal Certified Veterinary Technician

    Cayla grew up in Troy, Michigan, and is a Certified Veterinary Technician at Jackpot. No two days look the same for her—some are fast paced and adrenaline filled, while others are quieter—but each day brings new opportunities to learn and meet new patients. Cayla was drawn to Jackpot for the chance to share her knowledge, support her coworkers, and help inspire the next generation of veterinary technicians and assistants.

    Cayla has been in the veterinary field for seven years and has a strong passion for education, whether working with clients, students, or teammates. Her clinical interests include surgery, clinical pathology, and cardiology, with a particular love for time spent at the microscope. Outside of work, Cayla enjoys video gaming, diamond art, cooking and baking, and anything Disney, Marvel, or Star Wars related. She shares her home with five pets—Pepper, Yuna, Prince Albert, Princess B, and Knuckle—and is known for being a supportive listener and a “mama bear” both inside and outside the clinic.
